hey guys,

i have a 14.2 welsh mare and let me tell you she REALLY is a mare lol.

any how i need so advise on biting.... when riding both on road and in fields/school one day she is a sgood as gold and then the next she is a loon and just tries to take off...... my issue also is that she has a tendancy even in walk to yank her head to the floor and rip the reins out my hands ( not always to bolt just cause she like to i reckon)

anyway we have had her in a eggbut and former and full check and also a 3 ring gag and she still does the same.... what bit next (ive been thinking a loose ring waterford??)

any ideas??

ps back done, teeth done etc.

You may think it's a crazy suggestion but what about trying a bitless bridle? You could be surprised that she may not want to bolt or yank her head around as she'd be much happier and more comfortable

Ok are you having lessons with an instructor at all? Someone on the ground who sees what is happening?
