hi, im new to all this but deprate for a bit of advice with this,

I have a pony he is about 19 now and wouldn't hurt a fly, but recently down our stables ( the stables are bars so can see the horse next to them) there has been a new horse that has arrived and moved next to my horses, if my pony even looks at this horse it trys kicking the stable and squeals at him at first he didn't pay much attention but this new horse just stands right up and the bars and stares at him for hours on end and will double barrel the stable at him. ive noticed in the last few days my pony has now turnt very aggressive towards the horses both side of him ( the new horse and the other one is his field mate) the problem I have is that before this "new horse" came down he was happy and him and his field mate didn't bother each other. now he is going for his field mate while in his stable and I have owned this pony for 7 years and not once have I heard him squeal until yesterday... at his field mate having a go at him ...

what do I do!! someone help me !!

Tbh I would want to move him away from the new horse, is there anyway he can swap stables with another horse - I think it is important that they have their own peaceful space when they come in.

If it is not possible to move him I would look into covering the bars in between the stables with something like mdf, is this possible?

the owner doesn't like anything tied into stables and that, so boarding is out the window, BUT his field mate is also my other horse, so im going tonight try swap them over but my other horse is more dominant, so I think he might start kicking back and starting on the new horse? and I completely agree he usually loves his stable and don't want to come out of it much but now he has turned horrible to be around and in the stable. - thank you for advice I will swap them over tonight and see how that goes
