Help any advice on whinening dog???

Help my 2 year old jack Russell never stops crying, it's worse in the car from the min were in the car she's screeching at the top of her voice at home it's more low level but just as annoying! I'm sure I've caused this as she's a spoilt brat but now I need to stop it somehow??? Any suggestions at all???

Reward her with food or whatever floats her boat the minute she is quiet. Also use a command like 'quit' or 'quiet'.

In the car, use a crate (if it is wire, cover with a blanket) or carrying box to limit her visuals.
 
Our Lancashire Heeler used to do this when my daughter and her bf went to work, she would sit by the door and whine. I completely ignored her and if it went on too long I would tell her to go to her bed. It didnt take her long to work out that she was going to get no sympathy from me and on the odd occasion when she has done it since she has looked at me and I havnt said a word and she has gone to her bed or got on the sofa with the Dobes.

Ayhows, what DG and CC said, new routine for travel sees her in a small completely blacked out covered crate in the boot and put her in there randomly whilst it's parked on the drive and going nowhere, with a stuffed kong or bone, she prob wont touch it but she will know getting in the car does not always equal something exciting, try and make sure he walks for the nar future are always walked frm home and not via the car (short term) also take her on journeys where she does not get out, just a short drive round the block.
At home ignore all the attention seeking attempts and only fuss her now when you have invited her over and take attenion away when you decide too, never when she pesters for it. Offer her something to otherwise pre occupy her, as suggested kong/bone.
 
Also, it is really tempting when a dog is making a racket just to give in and do what they want in an effort to get them to shut up and give your head peace. In the long run, this is counter-productive.
