Went up to do my horse tonight and was brushing her as normal. I was using a soft brush to lightly brush the mud off of her face and she keep throwing her head as far as she could in the air and hated it when I even went to put the brush near her face. She was doing a similar thing a few days ago but after examining her for any cuts etc she seemed find and calmed down and so i rode. After i'd ridden she couldnt care less and stopped doing it. She is very excitable at the moment and so only thing i can think of is that maybe she's just doing it to be silly, not that there is anything actually an issue. She doesnt mind if i touch all over her face and ears with my hands etc it just seems to be brushing. Any ideas?
