Hi all,

My boy had a fight in the field yesterday resulting in nasty cuts on both knees! (unfortunately I think he came off worse!). These will require polticing for a couple of days.

My problem is that, my boy being the clever thing he is, can cross over his front legs and scratch one leg on the other, resulting in him being able to rub his bandages against each other, meaning that after a very short time bandges, vet-wrap and poultice end up round his ankles so to speak!!

I am tearing my hair out trying to keep them on - any ideas please??

superglue?

i have no idea really, sorry.

Great - knee boots - why didn't I think of that!! Now, let him try and get out of those!!

Having said all that, it is soooo funny watching him do it - he looks almost human rubbing away absolutely intent on getting those bl**dy itchy things off!!

would say knee boots ... if he gets them off plus duct tape ... Il buy him of you as im sure he could be houdinis long lost horse and then i could sell him for loads .....

Now im blabbering and not making sense ... * put the wine down and step away from the wine colleen *

Could you maybe cover them in duct tape......maybe if they are smooth he won't be able to get a grip on them to pull them off
