HELP! Anyone speak french? (Also in SB)

Sorry for posting this here, but need some answers quick!!
I'm writing my french oral speech, and am talking about my horse, and need some help with horsy words! (not sure how reliable the internet translators are

Need translations for:
Tack/saddle (and would you just use 'se laver' for cleaning the tack or is a different verb used?)
To jump
To ride (eg i ride my horse 4 times a week- is it monter?)
A stable, singular

Have you got a french/english dictionary?
stable- l'ecurie (feminine)
saddle- la selle
the verb to clean is nettoyer, le laver is to wash- so what ever you thinks best?
to jump (as in over something) sauter
monter a cheval, Je juis (sp?!) une bonne cavaliere (i am a good rider!!)
btw, havent spoke french for 8 years, I may be totally wrong!

I speak French (studied at Uni) so can help you out if you like? Saying that, never really had much call for horsey phrases, but here's a few for you...

Je fais l'equitation quatre fois par semaine - I ride 4 times a week
L'ecurie is stable, you could say Il faut que je nettoye l'ecurie tous les jours (I have to clean the stable every day)
La selle et la bride sont très importante, je dois les nettoyer souvent. J'utilise un savon pour le cuir - the saddle and the bridle are very important, I have to clean them often and for this I use a saddle soap.

You already have the answers you were looking for but another tip I used in all my A-level French exams to pick up the mark for the subjunctive tense was this sentence...

mais Je ne pense pas que ca soit vrais..

meaning "but I don't think that's true.."

(somebody feel free to correct my spelling, it's been over 10 years!!)



e.g. "Some people think horse riding is boring but I don't think that's true, I love it and I ride my horse 4 times a week."

I used it somewhere in all sections of my exam, oral, written essays etc, you can get it in anywhere and I credit that sentence with my predicted D ending up at a B overall with an A for both orals!!!
