help!! can you plait a wet mane?!

Just got to yard to get ready for today's dressage test, and it's been raining all night so Bailey's mane is soaked! Can I plait it whilst its wet or is that a horsey sin? Pls help!!

It's harder when it's soaked, but if you towel dry it (so its just damp) then its fine

Yes it's fine to - it plaits much tidier when wet, spray with a little air spray and it will turn out great.

Yep just don't over tighten as it will get a smidge tighter as it dries, think about putting your hair in a pony tail wet

Agree with all of the above. Towel dry it, then leave the first twists a bit slacker than normal, then plait the rest as usual. Mane will be curly for days when you take it out!

I can't plait dry manes.

I always dampen manes to plait but you do have to be careful not to plait too tight as it gets tighter as it dries.

Towel dry and add a bit of extra hold hair mousse, perfect

Much easier to plait a wet mane. but be prepared for the afro look when the palits come out !
