Hi,
my boy who is almost 16 has always been a kind lovely natured horse, loved by other horses and people.....
I sold him 2 yrs ago and bought him back over a year ago. He came back from the person who bought him with a massive haemotoma and bite ( from a horse) on his neck. He had to go on antibiotics and bute for 2 weeks. Its never gone down properly.
The problem i have is that now his temperment has changed somewhat. He is perfectly ok in a small herd in the field, no problem at all.
But as soon as he is in the school with other horses he tries to attack them !!!
What is wrong with him? why is he doing this now? he's done it ever since he came back to me so about a year, but he isnt getting any better and its embarrassing and upsetting.
any ideas why he might be doing this and also more importantly how to try to stop it !!!
