So, I know you creative lot like playing this game. Help me choose a show name for Toby. I was going to go for Skilful Lad, but its just not right, doesn't have a wow factor for me!

I have no breeding details, so have no idea who his parents or grandparent are, and all that's on his passport is Toby.

Here he is:

I was watching dressage last night, and a song came on called "Hot in the City" and thought that was quite cool... I want something that's different. I know I haven't given you much of a lead as such, but lets see what you come up with up!

I had the same prblem when I got my lad. His name is Charlie, but due my best mate also being a Charlie I call the pony Charles.

I thought Charlie Brown but there are so many, however when I registed him with BE Charles IV was his number and is now what he will compete under.

I love it! Sometimes the more simple name seem more regal?

So maybe something like Tobias, would work?

What an attractive little horse, and that comes from someone who normally can't bear coloured horses.

The Cherokee
Chief Cherokee.
Colour Sergeant
Will He Be Brave
Brave Indian
The Brave Chief

I like these... One of the girls on the yard does call him the Indian pony!!
He has acquired two nicknames... Tobester and Tobalisous but wasn't sure if these would be difficult to read/announce??

Manhattan Skyline, Hudson Bay, Hope Springs Eternal, Justification and Keep me in Mind are all my personal favourites. I always wanted a bay to call Hudson Bay, but my bay is called Bailey (show name Minnerdor) as his grandpa was the great Nimmerdor, and his brother in Holland is called Minnerdor too.

Might be a bit corny, but how about Last of the Mohicans?

I like it... I am liking the Native/Red Indian themes. I was looking at some of the old western film titles as inspiration...

Have a look here - you could pick a relevant name from the list and have it as xxxxx Blizzard or something similar. :)

ETA: Here's a nice one:

Kohana Blizzard - quite easy to pronounce but has something to it. :)

There's a story in one of the Bible Old Testament Apocrypha about "Tobias and the Angel".
If you called him that you could leave out the 'and' and let everyone think he was the angel or leave it as it is and let everyone think you are the angel!
