Help - claw bleeding

My mum was clipping Barneys claws and she accidentally caught the quick on one of his darker claws. Seems to have stopped bleeding now after she applied some pressure but is it likely to reopen and start bleeding again? Im a bit worried to take him to my nan flat with all perfect cream carpets now she would kill me if he got blood everywhere!! Ta in advance

What I use in these situations are those little cotton wool pads that are used for eye makeup remover and wrap with vetwrap. He will probabley hop on three legs for a bit but it will keep your grans carpet clean providing he dosnt pull it off.
