Help -Dogs repeadedly trespassing on my horse's field

Stick one of your horses in their garden, see how they like it ;)

Get the local dog warden out to pick them up next time they are on your property, they will soon get sick of paying to get their dogs back.

If you have tried the nice approach several times, your not left with many options.

Everytime you catch them in your field, call them, lock them in a stable with a chewy toy (makes it easier to catch em next time;) ) and then get the dog warden to come and pick them up.
As Kenzo says, once they have had to pay a few times to get them back, they might do something about keeping them under control.

I wouldn't bother with the training collars. They are not always effective - I've known of several dogs that just ignore them to get what they want, especially when they're focussed on something like a chase. Some dogs will also panic and bolt when they get a shock - a friend of mine's dog did this when he brushed against an electric fence and was lost for several hours. They could easily end up running over the wire and right to where you don't want them to be!

My parents use stock fencing around their land, mainly to keep the dog walkers dogs from running all over and cra**ing in their fields. If you can afford it easily, just do it, otherwise ask the offending neighbours to chip in.

We now think that the house owners are away and so cannot get hold of them to tell them there is still a problem with their sister's dogs.

So.....I have reported them to my local dog warning who will write to them and warn them! They have also asked me to keep a log, including photo's if possible!

I may also ask some other kind neighbours to log what they see as these people have upset them over various things too and they are around all day as retired!!

FOR SOME weird reason they removed my post so i will write it again

no dogs cant read signs but you need proof that you have warned them that your horses can kick . as if they did kick and injure a dog they would come down on you but if you have signs warning that the horses will kick out at dogs it would help you in the event of them trying to make a claim . You would say there are warning signs they chose to ignore them.

Although it's a bore, I might be inclined to catch the dogs and take them to the pound/ dogs home as much as possible. Obv easier if one is within a reasonable distance.
I used to continually find the same dog roaming the streets near my house, and the local police took dogs (don't any longer sadly) it was a real pain for the owners to have to ring round to try and find the dogs & then have to pay to get them back.
