I am doing N33 on the long arena and it has a 10m loop in off the track Between M and F on the right rein. So do i?

a) Stay on the right bend till i get to X then swap to left bend to F then back to right bend

b) Stay on right bend thought out the whole move?

Also

Do i ride it like a leg yield or do i straighten his body to X then change direction back to F.

Hope this makes sense it is something i have always wondered and though someone on here would be able to tell me exactly how i should ride it.

Thanks in advance.

Please don't leg yield, that isn't the move they are asking for!!! From what I am led to understand you do a balanced loop in from the outside track. I'm not sure about bends and that , just stay balanced and don't leg yield. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm by no way a pro

You'll probably get a better response to this if you ask your question in the Competition Riders section - there are often dressage judges lurking in there!

You do a half 10 metre circle just before M and as you finish the half 10 metre circle you then ride diagonally straight back to the track and rejoin before F, no leg yielding, so you are on left bend on half circle then straight until you get back to track and then carry on with the test. Its basically the same movement you would do in P10 just worded differently. Thats how I ride it.

OK:

Leave track at M on correct bend

Reach the C/L before X and gently straighten so it is like a curve

before, over, and slightly after X your horse should be straight

Graducally make a light bend back toward the track

By the time you reach F you should be back on the correct bend

To help you balance it may be a good idea to change your diagonal as you reach the centre line and change it back again once you change the bend again at f.

I hope that makes snese, please do NOT do a half circle as someone said above as this is a change of rein!!
