Help dvd-rw

My friend videoed my horse and has given me a DVD-RW.I hoped to play it in my computer so I could look at it while listening to music but I have gone into my media player and it says no disc also it won't play in my dvd player Any help please

The problem is probably that they did not record it properly and the disc has been corrupted. It should have worked in at least 1 of those you tried it on.

we have a dvd camcorder, you have to ''finalize'' the disc on the cam before using it in dvd players etc.. so ask you're friend if she finalized the disc for you, hope that helps.
