I moved my pony last week to a dairy farm. He is with his best mate and they seem happy. However we went for a ride in one of the fields tonight and as soon as we started to trot he started bucking

and seemed to think it was OK to try and canter withoout being asked. I think he is feeling well in himself, he has lost some weight now he is on restricted grazing. Any ideas on how to stop him etc gratefully received

not really got any advice except for perhaps lunging him first for the first few times so he is too tired to mess about and understands he should walk? Sounds like he is happy in his new home though!

Thanks, sounds like a plan!!

Its daft I know as I'm used to him bucking occasionally but this has knocked my confidence slightly. Well bit more than slightly but I'm determined to sort this out
