As title...before I murder my hubby who is having daft ideas

Looking for a 2 horse lorry (7.5 tonne) with living. Husband likes the Bedford TK as he knows how to deal with the engine.
Preferably in the Midlands/North

Thanks!

To be honest I don't think buying a TK is a very good idea. They are getting incredibly old & parts are getting harder to find. I think you'd do better finding a newer model of Ford/Daf etc where parts are not yet an issue. I know someone with a Baedord & they will soon sell there, possibly as spares because as spares they will probably earn more from it.

As Toby said, I say the Bedford TK is coming to the end of an era, cant see many still passing MOT, also same with the Ford Cargo, excellent in their day but getting harder to get parts. Dont know how much your budget is but would go for a Euro Cargo 75E15 or a DAF 45 150, both easy to maintain and drive. I know where the is a few lorries for sale various prices etc, in North Notts PM me if you want details.

Chassis' are really coming down in prices, you'll be surprised the age/condition that a small amount of money will get you.

2 yrs ago, I would never have been able to buy the one we've just bought & is being converted as we speak.

We've gone for the get it all new approach with the hope that there wont be any scary accidents (floors/ramps) or emergency repairs. It's costing less than we thought & is custom to our requirements.
Not sure what your budget is though.
