does anybody know anywhere in the southwest of england that stocks Dubarry boots - i'd really like to go and try some on before buying to ensure a good fit but can't seem to find anywhere other than buying online.
thats about 2 hours away from me, i'm in somerset. worth bearing in mind if we can't find any nearer! my OH has said he will buy me some for our wedding anniversary on monday. so i'm desparate to find some before he changes his mind! is woodland enterprises easy to find and do they have lots of stock - i'll go and google it
They come up large so you will need at least a half size smaller than your regular shoe size. eg. I am a size 6 in normal shoes and I take a 5 and a half in Dubarries.
Ridemore in Wincanton used to stock them, and I Would imagine Wychanger Barton near Wellington would have that kind of thing. May be closer than the other placed sepending where in Somerset you are. Don't live in Somerset any more so I'm not much help. They do seem to be at nearly every big event/equine fair so you could try somewhere like that.

Just wondered, what is the fit like? do they come up true to size or are they generally smaller/bigger than your regular shoe size?

I think they fit like wellies...
Larger, but not ridiculously so. I am a size 5 and bought that size and can comfortably wear thick socks in them (not that you need them! ) but if I wear thin ones, they don't feel big/my feet don't slide about.
