Ok so as you saw in "colours post" I've got some new fly rugs (full body thingies too.. very posh
) We lost our previous rugs due to two very silly and naughty jennys climbing into the hay barn and ripping their lovely rugs
My own fault I know but still naughty! however this is now sorted and now they cannot even smell the hay in the barn.
Flies haven't prooved too much of a problem where we are until last week so decision made and new rugs bought but I now realised that the main problem was infact their legs
I'm fly spraying them to high heaven and how I've escaped being mauled and kicked from this is amazing. I need fly boots for them!!! Never used boots for either of my two so don't have knowledge of boots in general.
What boots can I use to act as apart of their fly control?? Normal travel boots or turnout boots a suitable option or are there special fly boots available? I've read you can make your own velcro do-up things easily enough to just act like a stocking over the lower leg.
Any hints, tips or sites would be helpful... preferably colourful ones to match rugs and tack.
