Help! Flu & tetanus jabs; how often and how much

Could some of you clear something up for me...

How often should a horse have a tetanus jab?

In the years when they have the tetanus booster, ie flu and tet together, does this cost more than than the years when they only have the flu booter? If so, roughly how much more would you except to pay?


just going though passports and bills, they dont make sense and I'm planning to pay the practice manager a visit tomorrow to find out why there is no consitsancy (sp) in the way my horses have been vaccinated and the way I have been charged, just want to get my facts straight before I go in all guns blazing!

It alternates flu one year, the flu and tet the next. The joint vac is slightly (a few £'s more expensive) but I'd imagine their call out rates, whether they did anything else at the time and inflation year on year would vary the bill quite a bit
