HELP!! flying changes??

have a slight problem... i have a 15.2 mare, who dont get me wrong is brilliant in everything she does, but she has a problem with flying changes at home, when i compete or ride out she does it no problem wether it be BSJA, cross country, dressage or hacking, she does it with little leg aids but for some reason she doesnt do it at home, i use exactly the same leg aids as i do when i compete but nothing works, ive tryed poles, figures of eight and from canter to trot then trot to canter on the change but nothing does the trick.... how do i over come this????

A lesson with a good trainer should do the trick, without seeing the horse it would be hard to say whats causing the problem!

I know what you mean! My horse will do them really well one day and the next day he won't even do 1

yeah its so irratating... but i find it just weird that she only does it when we compete...well i suppose its better for her to do it at competitions than not do it at all lol
