Afternoon all,
I'm having that dreaded "saddle problem" again .. I've a 6 year old Arab - and after working well last year in my gp saddle for a while (which wasn't a great fit but ok for backing and breaking him), then moving over to my jaguar dressage that looked to be a good fit, he developed a very sore back. After the whole winter off work, numerous H wave sessions later and the advice of a reputable saddle fitter we've fitted him with a thorowgood dressage T4- however it looks balanced with no rider, with rider it is tipping back and he is running away from it hollow and not wanting to be tacked up.
Does anyone have any experience of the pad that you can hire to go under your saddle to see exactly what is going on... obviously I will get the saddler out to reflock, my T4, but like many of you out there the word "saddle" is a swear word in our yard and I would like to sort it properly for once and for all
Any ideas???
