I have:

For me:

Navy jacket(don't own tweed),
Shirt (can probably find a tie),
Beige jods,
Black jod boots and black smart gaiters,
Spurs,
Hat (not velvet they don't fit my head

),

For horse:

Brown showing saddle (never sold it

),
Brown plain bridle (apart from one brass buckle grr),
Pelham with 2 sets of reins, 1 plain 1 plain one side rubber the other,
Plaiting bands in brown and white,
Brown numnah,
Brown leather girth,
Clear hoof polish,


Going to Tesco tonight to buy:

Blue cheapy shampoo,
Baby wipes,

Going to Birchalls tonight to buy:

Mane comb,
Brown gloves,
More (spare) chalk,


Anyone think of anything else that i need??

Um i only have a JTE hat the one with the vents?

Its the only type of hat i've EVER found that fits me half properly! I seem to have a strange shaped head.

You didn't mention a cane, and will you want a buttonhole?

Are you allowed to wear spurs?

Ye are allowed, its run under CHAPs rules and i've been reading their members rule book pretty thoroughly!

I have a brown stick, not a cane but that will have to do for this weekend!

I don't usually ride with one so am hoping i may not need it?

def not a buttonhole. And can you stitch your plaits rather than use bands they look far better. And hoof gloss. And show sheen.

I can't stitch plaits, i can barely plait using bands!

Tack shop -
Bun holder clip thingy if you're feeling fancy, or hairnet if can't get in tesco
You can buy velvet hat silks for skull hat types if you want one.
Show shine or shine type spray?

Tescos list;
Hairnet for you
Hair spray/Gel for his plaits
Cheapo toothbrush and cocktail sticks - tack cleaning
A mini packet of tissues for your jacket pocket for last minute emergencies!

Don't forget to clean your grooming kit if you get time, and to take a fleece/cooler rug.
