Showing gear Confused.com.....

I am realy confuzzled about showing gear i have this:

Green jacket
cream jods
black boots (jod)
black chaps
and a charles and owen hat ... but in all the photo's i look realy immature?!? and not fit for showing but i can decide why.. i think its my hat ...

i am not in a position to buy a new jacket or anything as its fine but i just want some advice..

So what age are you and what showing do you want to do with what type of horse/pony?

For showing it should be long boots for adults, jodhpur boots for children (no chaps). Velvet hat looks best (you don't say what type of hat you've got). Hair in a hairnet (pigtails is for children) unless you've got very short hair. Gloves to match your boots. If its none of that, perhaps the jodhpur and jacket colours don't suit you?
