Help - Horse insurance!!

Hi, My horses are off to be broken in the next few weeks and the lady doing it has suggested i insure them. Can anyone recommend an insurance company - They are both cobs and will be just be used for hacking when broken. Is insurance a legal requirement to ride on roads and what do they need to be insured to cover? I've never insured a horse so am clueless, lol. Thanks

If you don't have any other insurance I'd recommend at least third party - if you don't want to insure the horses themselves for say death, vets fees, etc then one of the best ways to get third party (public liability) is through membership of an equestrian society such as the BHS.
