My idea is to start a weekly comic as I really don't want to stop drawing now I have left college, and think it would be an interesting project that would keep me motivated to paint :).

I made this last night, and I think it would be in this sort of style, possibly based around one yard with different horse and people stereotypes.

I already have the general dressage horse and rider wrapped up in cotton wool and XC nutter ;) do you have any more suggestions?

I did wonder about basing it on the happenings of horses on the forums so if you have any funny stories that I could feature, I would like to hear them too :)

You could do Dollys recent adventures ;)

Basically ran through electrified tape, trashed 6 poles , allowing her mum to stuff her face on lush grass looking pregnant again !

Whilst Dolly did a victory lap of farting, then bucking and flat out galloping round 2acres all whilst i stood in the middle shaking a food bucket and avoiding a turbo charged foal :D

I'm not sure if that sounds terrifying or hilarious ;) A horse that doesn't want to be caught is a good idea :)

omg your drawings are brill! Wish I could draw like that :D

Ah, thank you :o

I know a livery who sings to her pony (while she's mucking out or grooming), and I really don't think he likes it (he's always trying to run out the door when she does it). Maybe she chooses the wrong songs.

Oh, you've given me an idea (or rather, I have stolen yours!!). I'll be back in half an hour with some sketches :o

How about a horse that always seems to do some kind of damage to herself just as she's coming back into work, meaning she could return to eating and doing sod all :rolleyes:

Must be some mileage in the antics of a welsh pony's continuing efforts to break into the feed room / kitchen / other people's stable / field full of standing crop :)

I did something similar a few years bac based on incidents I had seen/been in through my work as a groom...

There was the stick thin, orange pushy mum telling her terrified daughter 'you'll be fine dear' as shes sat upon a huge leggy snorting eventer

The event rider who's still on her pony club pony, comlete with legs coming way past its belly jumping a huge open ditch/brush fence.

The lady with a horse who's got perhaps every conformation fault going with a caption saying something along the lines of 'well she's too naughty to ride and wont stay sound so I'm going to have a foal from her instead'.

Oh and another one was of a lady wearing a t-shirt saying I <3 my horse whilst prodding her very peed off looking horse with a carrot stick.

Feel free to use any of the above. I'll see if I can dig them out sometime!

Thank you for your ideas, every one :) I'll probably end up using them!

Charem, I won't steal yours ;) But I'd love to see them!

I got a bit carried away with the sketch :p

How about the childless women who treat their horses like human babies and spoil them and think they can do no wrong
