Help! - Horsebox Hire in Herts

Does anyone know any companies in or around Hertfordshire that will hire out horseboxes of 3.9tonnes or more.

We have two bigger boys and cannot take them anywhere together as they are over the weigh limit for the 3.5 tonnes that seem to be the only ones you can get.

We can drive it, one of us is old enough, but need to find one for hire that will carry more than your standard 3.5 tonne!

Any suggestions welcome!

Hopefully I might have found you an option. They are based in Welwyn Herts

This company uses an Equitrek Sonic (3.5T) but also a Supersonic, which they say has a bit higher payload, and on the Equitrek site it says Supersonic payload is 4.0-4.5T........ so that might work for you?

Unfortunately I already tried them and they moved the Super Sonic to their northern office due to less demand down here and now will only bring it down for a weeks hire minimum

Bicester horsebox hire do have a 7.5t. Brad,the owner is a fantastic bloke,knowledgeable and helpful. There is a website(sorry cant post the link,but its www.bshhorseboxes.co.uk.)

I know several companies as we hired them to do sponsored rides and transported my NF pony plus friends cob and another friends irish draught. However all three companies with the big lorries come with driver so you can't drive them yourself.

Thanks Everyone....we found a very obscure site hidden in the depths of Google called:
"myrentalhorsebox.com" which allows owners to rent their boxes out when they are not using them.

Not sure how reliable its going to be but will investigate further to see if there is anything in it.
