Hi, I want to sell my boy and ideally I need a quick sale due personal circumstances. How much do you think I should advertise him for a quick sale? A little bit about him, 14h1 6years chestnut gelding. Been shown in hand 3 & 4 year old, ridden showing 4 year old always placed. Mother/daughter family pony. Fantastic happy hacker, done a days hunting a very good, currently ridden by 12 year old girl. Snaffle mouth, straight forward ride, easy to do. But he is not keen on jumping, Show jumping is a no, but will jump, logs, ditches, water, small natural fences out hacking. What do think he is worth and what price would I get my hand snapped off for him. Anyone??

He sounds like a nice chap. I should imagine that no show jumping will limit the price since most children/younger buyers may wish to jump a bit. How much bone does he have, would he be a good happy hacker/rc horse for an adult who does not want to showjump?

Do you have a conformation photo and a nice ridden photo with the 12 yo riding him? Does he have any vices, health issues or previous injuries? What is his breeding?

He is welsh/tb. I am 30yrs and I ride him no problem, can work nice in the school and I have taken him showing inhand and ridden. Very good confirmation. No health problems or no previous injurys. He is really lovely. I cant post pics but can email them. Just wondered to advertise him as for a quick sale?

He sounds lovely and I have a friend looking for something like him and she doesn't jump either!
As for what hes worth I don't know but it rules out all your PC and so on sort of homes. £1500 - 2k?

Thanks, that price is what I was thinking. But im interested to see what others think. If your friend is interested, PM me your details I can email you some photos, he is a really good boy. Thanks for your help

is he well schooled? You could aim him as a potential young riders dressage horse or show pony. I think £2k max really if he isnt keen on jumping. You could say he would make a small adults ride as lots of older people arnt keen jumpers

I would have said around the £1800 .... happy hackers are always wanted .

Good luck with selling him
