Help, I can't find a breaking bit for my pony???

Looking everywhere. I measured him at 3.15 inches, he is a 12.3hh ish Welsh B.

I am looking for a 3.5 inch bit, does anyone know where does a lot of pony tack? Can't find a breaking bit small enough with keys.

Also trying to find a full cheek, with either a french link or losinge in sweet iron in a 3.5 inch yet 4 inches seems to be the smallest and that's still not the in the bits I am really after. Really appreciate any help.
 
That is really teeny weeny.
We had a 12hh welsh B & she was 4.5"
I think the smallest you will find is 4".
Unless anyone knows otherwise???
You can get them made by Abbey, but not cheap. Do you really want keys? They can cause more problems than solve IMHO

really have never seen the point in breaking bits, mine have always been done with whatever i intend to keep them in, usually a french link. Save your money & buy them something you can use long term.
 
Thanks, I've never known the keys to cause more problems? Always found them great for getting the horse to play and enjoy the bit. I can't quite believe he only wants a 3.5 bit though, I took a guess at him measuring around 4", no smaller.
