Choke - can require soaked/wet/small feed and reduced bulk to facilitate swallowing.
Colic - depending upon the cause, some horses colic on grass so have to be restricted in their grazing.
Laminitis - horses have to have restricted grazing
Azoturia/Equine Rhabdomyelitis/Tying Up/Monday Morning Disease - horses have to be fed a carefully managed diet to ensure muscle cramps do not recur.

Laminitas - sugar reduced diet/ restricted grazing
Elderly - easy to chew food [ie bran mash]
Diabetic??
Liver problems
RAO - soaked hay
Dust aleergys- same again

Lymphangitis - horses need low protein diets...
Osteochondrosis (OCD) in youngstock - through overfeeding nutrients or poor nutrient balance in feeds given.

Are you paying me for these?

Ragwort is becoming a huge problem for livestock (including horses) in Britain today. Ragwort poisoning causes dreadful and irreversible liver damage. Horses that survive suffer terrible photosensitivity and, because the liver is responsible for so much within the horse's body, need very careful diets. They need a diet that is very low in protein though what protein they do have must be of the highest possible quality. They also often need appetite stimulants and a supplement to aid hind gut digestion. Milk Thistle is widely accepted as being a valuable herbal support for the liver although no scientific studies have "proven" this. Hope this helps.
