Hello!
Me and my OH graduated from uni last summer, and have since found it very hard to get any work in Somerset. My OH made the decision to move in with some flatmates in Edgbaston (he was at uni for 3 years and lived in Selly Oak) and he moved in yesterday in the hope of more opportunities in finding a job and more of a social life than in rural Somerset
I am thinking of moving up with him in the next few weeks as there is nothing here for me and I have put off buying a horse for the next few years to start a career (only reason I am still here is my cat needs an operation tomorrow, and OH is going to see how the job market goes until I come up).
Now the first thing I thought was that I have to find somewhere to ride!!!
I have been very lucky at home with a few friends allowing me to ride their horses whenever I want.
Does anyone else live in the area and know of anywhere good to ride that is within a reasonable driving distance? I am hoping that once I am settled up there and HOPEFULLY have a job, I may start to look for a share horse to keep me sane (I am not a city type of gal!).
Hope it all goes to plan, being here without a job is starting to drive me nuts!!!
