I have the odd one of these on my second cut hay . I'm fairly sure it's common groundsel (often mistaken for ragwort). Grateful for thoughts.
Horses won't eat it thankfully but wondering if it's a problem that it's there?
One of mine seems to turn his nose at the odd bale although it looks and smells fine (and the pony eats it), even without any of these in the bale so not sure if the two are connected ?
It's second cut hay, selected on purpose to hopefully be less sugary and therefore it obviously won't be as tempting as fresh first cut hay.
