I have been given a lovely Fal 40g rug which fits my mare really well - however, I don't know if it is a stable or turnout!! Slightly embarrassed by this, but don't want to turn her out in a stable rug!

The material feels hard wearing but not sure if waterproof (if no joy here will try pouring some water on a corner).

Thanks in advance!

Someone gave me a great tip: if the filling goes all the way to the bottom its a stable but if it stops and then goes to no fill, its a turnout.

I heard that if there is a seem along the top of the rug from the horses withers to tail it is a stable rug as turnouts don't have seems there in case they leak. Hope that helps!
