I need to sell my saddle as it no longer fits my mare but I'm not sure what to sell it as! The branding says 'origin' written in gold on a blue panel but I literally can't find anything about origin saddles on the internet and don't know what the saddle is worth. A part of me wants to think they're linked to ideal saddles but I am not sure. I can post a pic if needed!!

Thanks :D

Ok really didn't ask for a sarcastic comment I was just wondering if anyone could be helpful, looking on google most of what comes up is about origin bike saddles.

Yes, the information you want is on the second and fourth links down on the google page I gave you. Is it really THAT difficult?

Eesh - I wasn't being sarcastic at Jade who said she'd searched but couldn't find anything - I was being sarcastic at Dee who said she'd found loads but didn't want to help by providing that info *rolls eyes* If we're going to get incensed can it at least be about the right thing?! :D

A specific page might actually be kind when the OP says they HAVE searched but couldn't find anything - not everyone's google-foo is all that great and it's a bit mean to say "Well I found loads - try again" :D

Floxie, had you and the OP followed the link given, yes it's sarcastic and FGS why couldn't you google this for yourself, but it gives the information required:( It's not as if I didn't give a HUGE clue in my first post:(

Floxie my comment was not aimed at you :)

Dee I have quite clearly stated I looked on google and couldn't find much. I was just wondering if anyone held some actual knowledge on these saddles. Clearly you don't so you can stop posting unhelpful and sarcastic links now :)

There, see! That was helpful!

Oh well...

Eh, I'm not after the information nor do I wish to search for it. I know what your link points to, I use it a lot myself - but I send it to people who haven't bothered trying to do the research themselves, not those who say they've tried searching but haven't been able to find the answer.

EDIT: Sorry, sorry, I'm fanning the flames! *sits on her hands* :D

Or for goodness sake, my link takes you to a google page full of links on origin saddles. The second and fourth ones down are probably what you are looking for. THat's hardly an unhelpful and sarcastic link! If you want to do it for yourself go to google and type in origin saddles. If you include ideal as well that narrows the search.

I had one, they were sold by Wychanger Barton in Devon. Don't know if they made them, but they seemed to be a bit of an 'own brand' sort of thing.

Might be worth asking them.

It's a little confusing as I know Nathaniel Underwood (who used of own Wychanger) and had a Origin dressage saddle!

Basically Origin was made by Ideal but it was designed by Nathaniel as I understand it... It is rather complicated but I think that sums it up :)

So you'll be aware the link I gave showed the two links that the OP required for the information she wanted:) So we're all good then:D
