Not much help but shouldnt the passport be with the horse?

Where do you keep yours, literally hanging on your stable door? I keep mine in the house, surely everyone does? Safer than leaving outside in a tack room or something!

Well mine manage to keep theirs quite safe dry under their rugs!

I am going market out door rugs with special pockets for passports this is a previously indentifed need .

Oooh AP i like that idea I keep mine at my house... But that may possibly because they live in my garden What a bad hubby. My father thinks that everything walks to the bin,dishwasher, washing machine/basket etc. Always has, always will *rollseyes*

can you not call the owner and ask them to sort passport? alternativly you could just call your vet, explain and get a new passport issued. i had to do this a year ago with one of mine, it cost about £100 give or take and when filling in the form there were boxes to tick to state weather you are legal owner or carer etc so its quite simple. your lucky it was just a petID passport lol. stupid hubby!

No, because this would be illegal. It's illegal for any horse to hold more than one passport (and whether or not a physical copy exists the horse has already been passported so therefore holds a passport).

Ring PetID and ask for a replacement to be issued. You may need to submit an ID chart so that they can check it's the right horse but it happens all the time and is perfectly straightforward to sort out.

Just had to laugh at the fact your Hubble found things in a safe place we and chucked them! It sounds like something mine would do.....why do they do it? And yet all the sht that neither of us needs is still firmly in a large pile not going anywhere!! Blokes- doh!
