Help- Insurance for part loan/ weekly rider

Hi, I'd like to get some help with my horse possibly riding once/ twice a week and mucking out on those days. I just wondered where I stood on insurance purposes? My horse is generally okay but very spooky out hacking and can really hot up so of course I will have to judge if the person is confident enough to handle him but I want to ensure I have appropriate insurance just in case. I have horse (and rider) insurance for him and me so should I just add this person on to this insurance policy or ask them to get there own rider insurance? I dont want something to happen and then somehow I get blamed not warning the rider about him when I have...equally I didnt really have in mind that this would be a formal written arrangement. Any advice welcome...

I'd get them to take out BHS gold membership which includes personal liability and personal accident insurance:

That's what I do for my sharers too, get a written agreement with them that states you do not insure them, the horse is x,y, and z (i.e. spooky), and they are required to hold their own insurance.

I don't think you can just add another rider onto your insurance. NFU were not at all interested so my sharers pay for their own insurance.
