Help! Is it showjumping or show jumping??

I'm doing a logo for someone and suddenly unsure of the spelling! Is show jumping one or two words? There doesn't seem to be a general consensus, though I know that BS is British Showjumping... Help!

Depends which dictionary you read - it can be all one word, two words or even hyphenated!

Take your pick

Yes exactly! So there isn't an overall spelling... showjumping, show jumping, show-jumping, Show Jumping. Arrrgh.

I'm at least going to avoid the sentence/title case issue by using caps only...

on the 'about us' page of british showjumping, it does write it as 'showjumping' all one word.

We also have British Para Show Jumping Association. FEI just refer to it as just Jumping and the US Hunter Jumper association as Show Jumping. British Eventing refer to the activity as show jumping.

Perhaps half a space as a compromise?
