She is only 5 so worried that she seems a bit young to may-bay have already weaned a foal or 2
The girl i have got her on trial from has told me she got her from a dealer around 4 months ago , the dealer brings cobs over from ireland so she may have been covered before then. I really hope not as i do really like this little mare.![]()

With the greatest of respect, that type of mare in Ireland, will have been covered at 2 and could easily have foaled twice.
Who the hell puts a 2 year old in foal?????![]()

Yeh thats what im worried about , but she is getting vetted and seems a happy little lady so fingers crossed she has had a foal and not in foal![]()
You cannot change the past. I really hope she passes the vet, which she probably will, because if you think about it, if she spent her youth in foal she did not spend it being thrashed across Ireland in the hunting field, which many of Irish cob type horses do.
Good luck and have lots of fun with her.
