Help! Is this an open competition, or for PC members only?

I've been out of the game for so long, I no longer know what I'm eligible for and what I'm not, as I'm a lot older now...!

I found this schedule:

It does not state on the schedule whether it is open to the everyone or not. The entry form, however, is confusing, as it asks for both rider age and horse height (even though the classes are not restricted by age or height) and also contains a section 'to be filled in by your DC/secretary' - although this only requires a printed name and signature.

Does anyone know whether this is likely to be open or not? When I entered PC comps in the past, I was always a part of a PC myself so it didnt matter...

I wish they would make it clearer on the schedule

Well it says entry is cheaper for non-beaufort members so I would guess it's open entry... Not too sure though!

Not necessarily - a lot of these Pony Club ODEs are only open to Pony Club members, although entrants may be members of other branches (hence the discount for Beaufort members). Usually if it is open to non-PC members it will have 'Open' in the event title, but worth emailing the secretary to check!

I know that all the ODEs run by our branch are only open to Pony Club members.

I would imagine that it is an open competion just run by the pony club, it says horse may be any height but horse/rider must not have been placed in novice for the smaller ones. If it was just for PC members i dont think they would get as many entries. To be sure i would phone up and ask but i would imagine you would be fine to enter. Looks like a fun day!

why dont you give them a ring? You never know if you do they might put in a class/section for you and others to compete in, I asked the Belvoir to and the entries flew in

I have emailed the secretary, but unfortunately I cannot check my emails at work so wont know until I get home...also can't make a phone call at work either, so no possibility of ringing til this evening! Which is a real pain, as the entries close tomorrow....so if I got my entry posted off tonight (supposing it is Open) will it get there in time?
