Callers are allowed up to GP level as PG says except in regionals. You will not loose marks for having a caller.

Going to do our first walk trot test, but would like to do a prelim to just as go ! BUt when i have been to dressage shows people seems to get a bit pissed at people calling out, ok there is normally 3 rings so i can see why, but this dressage place only has one ring ?

of course they wont get sh!tty!! in fact im getting my mum to call one of my prelims im doing on my new horse on sunday as im doing two and they are really similar tests and i keep getting them muddled up!!!!!

you just cant have callers in the nationals/regionals/championships

Thats the thing i know them of by heart but if he has one off his days i will loss everything, and will have to concentrate about not jumping out the ring

He goes like a dream at home or training, just hope i can hold it together, when i lose it he does, stressage it is. But i just need to get one under my belt then i will be away.

Yeah, it’s absolutely fine to have a caller. A lot of people do. However I find it easy to learn the test as 1) it’s difficult to concentre on everything and 2) I’m a bit deaf so don’t like relying on a caller incase I can’t hear them and I go wrong, but that’s just me!
