Help me calm down...please.

Im usually a really calm person,but Ive just had to tell 2 parents whos girls helped at my yard that I cant have them up anymore,the parents just use me as a babysitting service,I had been letting them ride two of my horses in return for very little work,infact they did nothing but I felt sorry for them,in return they broke my trust bt riding my horses where I had asked them not to and just bombing around everywhere without a care for the horse,I found out because my friend saw them,I told the parents really nicely and politly even though I was angry to which they hurled abuse at me and threatened me .Is this al;l the thanks I get for taking care of their daughters for 3 months.Sorry just really fed up. and lesson learnt.
 
Don't get stressed, you have done nothing wrong. The parents were probably so cross because they knew the girls had been irresponsible. Please don't dwell on it!
 
I am not surprised you got annoyed, most of us feel upset and angry when taken advantage of like this. Such a shame when your trust is abused like that. It is dealt with now so its best to try get on and get back to normal now, all the best and I hope you have no more trouble from them or the parents x
 
You did the only thing you could given the circumstances. Why should your horses be treated that way just to amuse their children? When the parents have had time to reflect I am sure they will realise that and if they are so desperate for a babysitter they can get an actual babysitter.
 
My OH is a secondary school teacher. It is common these days when a parent is asked to come into school and discuss their child's unacceptable behaviour that the parent sides with the child and abuses the school and teachers.

It seems there are parents out there who just will not accept responsibility for their children's behaviour, and for some reason they seem to think abusing the person telling them the truth is Ok and will make it all right.

Well done for keeping your cool.
