I have narrowed down my choice of new dressage girths to the ones below and can't choose! My mare is a little sensitive in the girth area sometimes when I brush her and can pull a face when tightening girth so which one would you go for? I do like the idea of the forward cut girths which give better weight distribution too. Thanks for any advice :)

Well I would say if you preferred the prestige to the EE one then buy the Prestige. IMO the EE is much better than the other 2 you listed :)

I have an evison and like it. I've not tried the fairfax so can't compare, but it is a nice English leather girth and is very forward cut and very wide - both important to me as my boy has a forward girth groove and is quite sensitive, but likes the wide bearing area of this girth

Thanks :) the other problem with the Evison is they don't go to the size I want. That's why I narrowed it down to the 3 at the top. The Prestige was my favourite anyway though :)

I know its not on your list but when I was looking to compare fairfax and prestige (couldn't find prestige in the flesh) I went to HOYS managed to look at EE & Fairfax
but ended up with one of these http://www.equiport.co.uk/products/horse/girths/dressage-girth-l83/. I am really impressed with it, beautifully soft and a really good curved shape, also great value for money :). Would recommend for a dressage girth if you dont need the metal D ring (if I use anything with it I slip a leather sleeve with ring on the end on over the girth but would be a bit of a faff if you needed to do it every day).

Might be worth ringing them if you are interested I don't know if they do go up that big, but my friend needed smaller - an 18" - and they said they could order other sizes in :).

I don't have the short girth but I have a heritage stud girth that I bought cheaply 2nd hand off eBay when our lovely expensive one wouldn't fit with her new saddle! They are ok but not as well made as say our Jeferies dressage girth and its not a well padded as some, I was happy for what I paid but would have been disappointed if I had paid full price for it new.

Evision made me a 32" dressage girth. Equiport told me the sizes they had were the only ones they could do, which is such a shame as I have a 26" for one horse, and the 32" evision for the other and I much prefer the Equiport girth! (and price!)

I would check first whether your mare is happier with a true anatomic girth.

If you look closely thé Prestige Is actually a straight girth with a wiggle in the middle - check where the buckles point.

Thé Cair, Heritage Anatomic and thé Fairfax are, i think, truly curved, with the buckles pointing away, not straight out.

Some horses go much better in a true curved girth.

If you aren't sure you need a shaped girth I would recommend the professional choice ventech girth. Really soft and wide. My thin skinned sensitive mare is happy in one having struggled to find something comfortable previously.
