Help me choose which photo please!

Going to order a canvas print for my dad for xmas - need to do it today though otherwise it might not get here before christmas! x Need help in which one to choose please?

Another vote for number 4. It's a lovely action shot and makes a nice composition. In the others the rider is partially obscured or the horse is, by the jump wing.

My favourites are pic 1, 3 and 4. I wasn't sure about 4 because my eyes are shut and he has a bald rug patch?! x

I liked 2 but my position isn't quite right x

My thoughts

Number 1 is a bit grainy
2 - composition not ideal - could be cropped but then is it high res enough to look good printed?
3 - ace but a little blurred, shame he's not all on there!
4 - lovely! Not an impressive jump but horse and rider look lovely - big, clear and sharp. My choice!
5 - headless horseman Also seems pretty low quality, don't think it'd print well.

number two your sitting down too much in saddle
number 3 the jumping looks a bit flat
number 5 your looking opposite side to camera and horse looks like he got too close to it .

I think number 1 and number 2 (instructors point of view tho your legs are a bit far back in one its hidden by jump wing)
though you could try sharpen pictures up a little specially number 1

If its for your Dad I'd go for no 4. Its a lovely relaxed pic showing you and your horse looking good, even with your eyes closed. No 1 is more jump, you and horse are not standing out because of the trees behind. No 2. you aren't in the best position, and No 5 could be anybody on the horse. I'd like no 4 if it was of my daughter as you and horse look happy and natural.

P.S You could ask the people who are doing the canvas to airbrush the rug rub out.
