Heres the situation. I have four horses - well 2 horses and 2 ponies and rent a small yard. The yard has two larger stables - one about 15 x 11 and the other 11 x 11 and two small stables (which have a sloping roof) of about 9x9. The property isn't very sheltered and in the winter it can be very bleak and the weather rough. Obviously the two horses need the bigger stables at night but do you think it would be unfair of me to put the 2 ponies in the smaller stables when the weather is going to be bad overnight as they are both clipped. Both ponies are just over 13.2 - one is stocky and one is fine. They are able to turn round in the stables but I was worrying about the sloping roof and that they may get cast. If I don't decide to use them as occassional stables i could use them for rug drying/storage etc. Both ponies are used to being in at night.
