Help me decide!!

Im after a pair of country boots for Christmas and I cant decide!!

I like these

I feel like i should go for the cheaper ones, but surely there's a reason why there's such a big difference in price, would be better putting too and getting the more expensive pair?

Anyone got these boots? are they worth it?

They're both ariat so probably good! The more expensive ones look like they have a thicker sole so may stand up better to mud, mucking out etc. sort of depends what you want them for.
I have the cheaper ones and the leather is very soft and lovely. I wear them to work and around town in the winter, I wouldn't walk through loads of mud in them as they would be difficult to clean.

I prefer the windermere ones they look smarter but wouldnt say they are great for wearing on the yard where as the other ones seem better designed for yard use depends what you want them for

I have an old pair of Ariat boots which I love but I can't remember what they are called, but the foot on them looks very similar to the expensive ones. The boot is fantastic in every way except that they now leek at the seam across the toes. The boot bends at the seam as that is where you toe joints are, and the seam lasted about 4 years. Therefore, I would recommend you get the cheaper ones as they do not have a seam across the toes and may last longer.

To be honest, im trying to be more fashionable! im bored of wearing the same things and for me these are abit different (im normally in jeans and Dr martins)

They dont really need to be yard boots (ive got wellies for the farm and i doubt they'd last long with the amount of mud) so really for everyday normal use.

The reason im thinking more for the more expensive ones is they look more fitted and i dont have thin long legs, so im worried the others, will look like im stood in buckets!! but then again its probably more because im not used to wearing this sort of thing

I have the Windermeres and they have been good boots for general yard work. If you want something to ride in also, I would recommend finding a pair with a zip or side fastening (like the Glaciers) as the Windermeres are too loose and just sag when you ride, which is a bit annoying and doesn't look nice. Although for the price they are good, I wish now that I had spend about £200 on Glaciers or Grasmeres which are also good for riding, so you don't have to keep changing boots in the cold. Can't comment on the others except that they don't look exactly made for riding in, either.
