Hi All

need help figuring out a show plan..
I have two horses both at different stages.
L, my more established horse that ive had for nearly 2 years, has qualified for blue chip mid April. He came 2nd there last year. I am about to step up to 1m10 on him as im very comfortable at 105.
S, my other horse, ive only had for 3 months and we are currently jumping at 90/1m whilst we get to know each other.

L is the type of horse that i dont have to jump a lot, he knows his job inside out and he actually jumps better the less jumping he does. In fact, Blue Chip is at Hartpury and decided that i dont want to take him there this weekend as i think he will light up more if i take him there not having been to the arena in a while so no thinking of rerouting to Addington Training Show and taking both (you have to enter 2 rounds per horse) so i take S in the 1m and do that twice . will be nice to school round a nicely made course, in a comp setting, without the pressure and then take L in the 1m and 1m10 (if my riding is accurate enough).

i then want to go to Weston Lawns stay away at the end of month and will def take S as i think it will be a really good learning curve for both of us, but not sure whether to leave L at home or bring him and jump the 105s. if i dont take L i could have a lesson before Blue Chip on the 15th/16th or take him to a day show before i go?

Not a SJer but didn't want to read and run - you might get more responses if you put this in the 'Competing and Training' forum :)
