My dad lost his best friend six months ago, he is still devastated!! ( He is completely LOST without his best friend we know that Redd can NEVER be replaced but he can send a friend to my poor Dad... Hope you find something for him, I got my mum a staffie about a year and a bit ago, and while the puppy stage probably drove her mad, I think she is glad now.

Rescue centers are busting at the seams, shouldn't be that hard for your dad to find one that suits him. Take him for a visit to your local one's this weekend. Much better idea than buying some 'accident'.

Both my springers came from this rescue, they do an excellent job of matching dogs to people.

Many Tears have some that might do you, they have fosterers up and down the country so you might even manage to find one very close! I foster for them and they really do an amazing job.
