Looking for 16-17hh quiet, sensible, mare or gelding, to replace old friend who has decided to become paddock ornament. Must be up to weight but not a hairy cob. Needs to hack out alone, be good in traffic, not kill the farrier. If it can pop a fence it will make the lass who grooms for me very happy.

Ive a friend up the road from you with a coloured gelding, hes 4yr old, not hairy and hunted over the winter. Not done much the last few weeks due to owners lambing. Happen to know the girl who grooms for you used to rather like him as a youngster.

Navaho - If it is the one she thinks it is then a) it isn't up to weight b) was only broken in the autumn c) has had no schooling. If you were thinking of something else let me know.

Drove to Ayrshire to find the old mare. The right horse doesn't need to have the right address:) Why not pm me with details of Paddy?

I'm unable to reply to your pm Tina as I'm on my phone. However if you look up on horsemart bay mare all rounders in mid glam that's a good start.
