Details are:

SEVERINA -A**-
ST.PR.ST
H 81 01320 87
SCHWARZBRAUN
166 CM/ 3 JAEHRIG
then her pedigree follows.

I'm not very good at this, have been on the all breeds site, but just give up .
If anyone can shed some light for me, it would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

Not 1000% sure but it appears it could possibly be state premium mare Severina a - the H in the registration number indicates probably hanoverian . If you contact the British Hanoverian Society by email they may be able to shed some light on the mare.

just done some very quick research and i hope it helps.... looks like severina is also a Bavarian Warmblood. the '81' in her number tells us this. and 87 would appear to be her year of birth. the remaining numbers are her number, given to her by the 'zuchtverband' (breed society). try the British Bavarian Warmblood Society (email: bbwa@bbwa.co.uk).... gotta go out now, but when i come back later, i'll see what else i can find

ok, here's the latest. Currently awaiting confirmation from the BHS about the British Bavarian Warmblood Association. In the meantime, i've tracked down the breed society in Germany. Michaela Kain is responsible for the upkeep of the Stud Book in her area of Bayern (Munich, I believe), and i reckon if you send her an email (michaela.kain@pzy-obb.bayern.de) she may well be able to help you. if she can't i'm sure she knows someone who can. if you word your email in fairly simple English, you should be ok - many germans now have a knowledge of the lingo. Good Luck.

I live in Germany (Baden-Württemberg, next-door state to Bayern, (or Bavaria)), and I have a fairly good knowledge of the language. I'm also the English-speaking Tour Guide for Haupt-und Land Gestüt Marbach, Germany's oldest state stud, so I need to be fairly up-to-speed on the breeds, Warmblood, as well as Coldblood. If your interested, go to www.gestuet-marbach.de and click on the Union Jack for the English page. Anyway, still waiting for the BHS to reply - when i hear anything, i'll PM you, if thats ok.....
