i am looking for new boots to wear on the yard but in a dilemma. I have had a pair of grasmeres and they lasted me a longtime so they seem like the best ones to go for but it seems a waste to spend all that money for what i want them for.
since my grasmeres i have had the kity riding boots (copies of the grasmeres) and the hkm country type boots, both were trashed in months. i have a pair of muck boots but i find them heavy and uncomfortable for long periods of wear.

ideally i need a pair of boots that i can do the mucking out in (10plus stables a day) and ride in. I tend to swop and change what i'm doing so i do some mucking out, then ride a horse or 2 then do som more mucking out etc.... i do occasionally go through some mud.

i have been looking at the ariat windermeres, harry hall country type boots, toggi etc..

what do you guys do and what recommendations do you have?

You literally could have been me writing that!

I've just gone and bought the ariat windrush boots from equestrian clearance on offer for £124!

I have the Toggi Canyon boots. I've had them for 18 months now and they are all I use. Muck out every day and ride and walk through puddles and mud. They are fantastic. I think they will last another year and I will definitely get the same again.
