Help Me Find Some DECENT Wellies

My wellies gave up the ghost this morning, so im on the lookout for a new pair - what do you find to be the best wellies out there?

Im quite hard on my footwear and don't really want neoporene type ones as they make my feet too hot and then never dry out!
 
Another Aigle lover. I've had mine about 2 years now and they're still like new. Before that I had Hunters and Ariats - similar sort of price - but they barely lasted a year each. Mine are neoprene lined which I love as my feet are always cold, but you can get them without and they're cheaper for it!
 
The Muck Boot co. i swear by them, both the muck wellie boots and the riding boots, in winter. They last for years, are very warm, supportive - and (ahem) my wellies are pink :o
 
Cheapy farmers Dunlop wellies. Cost me £10 and last much longer than any of the expensive boots I have bought. Nice and comfy and room for fleece boot liners if the weather gets really cold.
 
Love my Aigles. On my second pair. Yes, they're expensive but I wear them practically every day so feel I get my money's worth.
 
I love my Le Chameaus and wouldn't have anything else now. They're expensive but they're warm, comfy, completely waterproof and mine are now on 6 years of everyday use.
 
Dunlops for me too, ok so not the cheapies, but the purofort ones. Steel toes, but super light really warm and durable, with goot none slippy soles. Not a thing of beauty but sturdy!
 
Love my muck boots. Not sure which ones I have but they have wonderful deep treed to them. Which helps getting around on the mud we have here at the moment and when the snow comes they save me from slipping to much.
 
I have Aigles that I bought on offer for £20 from SCATS. They have lasted well and are comfy - will get more when they go. I used to use Hunters but they only last a few months now. I also have Woof long fur lined muck boots for cold/ snow that I like.
 
Get some Joules ones. They come with a year's guarantee - they do not last a year! You take back the leaky ones and get a new pair (again with a year's guarantee). Keep going like this, that initial £60 spend is quite economical! :-D I have just got a sparkly new pair after my last ones (think I got on Feb as b-day present) were split sometime during the summer! Joules changed them based on guarantee, no questions. Can't see the logic on their part but hey!
 
Quite like the pair I got out of Aldi a few weeks back. They're black and have shiny quilting on the sides. I had contemplated buying another pair of Hunters following the demise of the soles of mine after 6 years, but at £12.99, I can afford to replace these ones. And they're fleece lined. I'm taking pleasure in having cheapo willies.
 
I have found that it really depends on what you are doing with them! If like me you muck out 7 days a week, more then one stable then for for dunlop types as the last much longer with being stood in wee and being worn every day. If you just want a wellie to get you through some mud from car to yard then look at other makes, but most wellies i have come across only last a few weeks when being worn every day in 8 stables, hence why farmers get through quite a few pairs!
 
I have Aigle ISO for 'horsey'/recreation. Love them but they are useless for farm work ( slippery on wet concrete & not chemical resistant)
I use proper 'farmer' wellies for work, as you can probably tell from my user name I milk cows! But not steel toe as I hate them :o
Have Dunlop big chunky ones usually, not pretty but very practical
 
Live in my aigles iOS 2, I got fed up with leaky wellies last winter so treated myself over the summer :) but they are so comfy, I've got fat legs so struggle to get boots to fit but these have lots of room! I walk miles in mine everyday too.

Did have muck boots that lasted 18months, (they leaked far before that but I superglued them) but they do make your feet sweat, they rubbed if I had thin socks on and were heavy too. Plus they let in water over the top half.

I had hunters which dies after 2 winters. I went to the local feed store and asked what wellies get returned the least. They had quite alot of wellies including hunters and aigles, muck boots etc.
They said the dunlop safety wellies - never had a return and he has been there over 10 years :) so for £14.99 i picked up a pair, they look durable and have a steel toe cap and chemical/mud resistant. There not pretty and look like they would be capable of freezing your feet ff so i bought some sheepskin liners for £5 and some of those heat socks for £6. Feet are toasty and dry!
