Help me find some feed...

Cotswold herbs are even cheaper. Cheaper still if you buy fenugreek seeds rather than ground. You have to buy enough to justify postage but they do other things.

A typical yard order might include mint, agnus castus, turmeric, garlic and rosehips as well as fenugreek.

The seeds are not as effective as the powder. I buy enough stuff from pro earth that their postage works out cheap as chips :) And you get a free sweetie!!!
 
Another update if anyone happens to either be interested in the topic, or if the thread gets pulled up by someone searching... Thunderbrooks chaff also is soya and mollasses free, but slightly higher energy content that the hifi.

I haven't heard anything from halleys yet, and so to keep me going I've ordered some plain straw chaff from efeed. Approx £14 for a 22 kg bag delivered to my house, so not a bad price! Just hope horse likes it, will keep me going for a while though.

I did try and order through the halleys website on Sunday but for some reason it wouldn't let me
